Opening of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations at Auxilium Primary School, Carona.

Auxilium Primary School, Carona, joyfully inaugurated its year-long Golden Jubilee Celebrations on 5th August 2026, marking fifty years of God's blessings, dedicated service, and quality education. The celebration began with a ceremonial welcome for the Chief Guest, Sr. Ines Monteiro, FMA, who was escorted by the school squad along with the Manager, Sr. Antonette D'Souza, the Headmistress, Sr. Lavita Sequeira, and the Sisters. The programme commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction to the Chief Guest, highlighting her long association with the Carona community. A key highlight was the unveiling of the Golden Jubilee logo by Sr. Ines, followed by an explanation of its symbolism by Sr. Teotonia Vaz. In her inspiring address, Sr. Ines encouraged everyone to remain open to God's call and emphasized the importance of prayer and vocations. The celebration continued with the Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Fr. Francis Silveira, SDB, with Fr. Savio Pinto as concelebrant. In his homily, Fr. Francis appreciated the valuable contribution of the Salesian Sisters in shaping generations of young lives. The celebration concluded with refreshments and fellowship, marking the beginning of a grace-filled Jubilee year filled with gratitude, hope, and renewed commitment to the school's mission.
