Inauguration of the Marian Month and Initiation of the Marian & Laura Vicuña Groups

The Inauguration of the Marian Month and the initiation of the Marian Group and Laura Vicuña Group were solemnly celebrated at Auxilium Primary School, Carona on 16th July 2026. The theme for the celebration was "With Mary – 50 Years of Growth, Grace and Gratitude." The programme began with a prayerful procession led by students dressed as angels, while the teachers and Sisters carried the statue of Mary Help of Christians, creating a serene atmosphere. The Marian Group assembled on the stage, and the Laura Vicuña Group stood before it as a meaningful prayer service sought Mother Mary's guidance and thanked God for the school's fifty years of blessings. The highlight of the celebration was the badge-pinning ceremony, during which Sr. Antonette D'Souza and Sr. Lavita Sequiera welcomed the newly inducted members into their respective groups. The students accepted their badges with pride and renewed their commitment to the values of faith, prayer, service, purity, and kindness. Addressing the gathering, Sr. Antonette D'Souza congratulated the new members, appreciated the teachers' efforts, and encouraged everyone to pray for the school during its Golden Jubilee celebrations and to follow Mother Mary as their guide and inspiration.
