Inaugural Mass for the Academic Year 2026-2027
Seeking God’s Blessings for a Successful Academic Year

The Inaugural Mass for the new academic year was celebrated on 18th June 2026 in the school hall with the theme "Abide in Me." The students and staff gathered prayerfully for the Eucharistic celebration. The choir, seated in the front rows, led the congregation with melodious hymns, creating a reverent and prayerful atmosphere. The Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Agnel Simoes. In his inspiring homily, keeping in mind the pastoral theme, he encouraged the students to be open to correction and guidance. He narrated the story of a kite that longed to be free. When its string broke, it fell into thorny bushes and was torn. Through this story, he explained that just as the kite needed its string, students need the guidance and correction of their teachers and Sisters to grow into responsible individuals. Fr. Agnel also spoke about the pencil, the sharpener, and the eraser, explaining how each teaches valuable lessons about learning, accepting correction, and improving ourselves. The beautiful singing by the choir added meaning and solemnity to the celebration. At the end of the Mass, Fr. Agnel wished the students and staff a fruitful, blessed, and successful academic year ahead. The celebration was a grace-filled beginning to the new school year, inspiring everyone to remain rooted in faith.
