Closing of the Marian Month

The Marian Month was brought to a meaningful close at Auxilium Primary School, Carona, on 17th August 2026. The celebration, held on the theme “Mary, Our Mother and Guide,” was an occasion to express love, gratitude and devotion to Mother Mary. The programme began with a prayer service, reminding the students that Mary is our loving Mother who guides and protects us. The students and staff also made a Consecration to Mary, entrusting themselves to her loving care and guidance. Following the prayer service, the Sisters, teachers and support staff reverently carried the image of Our Lady towards the chapel, while the students stood in two lines forming a prayerful pathway. The celebration concluded with the offering of flowers to Mother Mary by the students. Each flower symbolised their love, gratitude and trust in her maternal care. The closing of the Marian Month was a memorable and grace-filled occasion, reminding everyone to follow Mary’s example of faith, humility, kindness and love and to remain close to Jesus.
