Blood Donation Camp

A Blood Donation Camp was organized at Auxilium School, Carona, on Sunday, 15 March 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., as a joint venture of Loving Hearts in collaboration with the North Goa District Hospital. The camp aimed to create awareness about the importance of blood donation and to encourage people to support this life-saving cause. The camp was conducted under the guidance of the Headmistress, Sr. Lavita Sequeira FMA. Many generous donors came forward to donate blood. The medical team from North Goa District Hospital efficiently carried out the registration, health check-ups, and blood collection while ensuring the safety and comfort of the donors. Special appreciation was extended to Mr. Ranjit Rodrigues, Founder Member, Mr. Mark D’Souza, President, and Mr. Gabriel Pereira, Secretary, for their valuable efforts in organizing and coordinating the camp. An Organ Donation Information Desk from the MOHAN Foundation was also available, where Mr. Gabriel Pereira, the Organ Donation Ambassador, provided useful information to the donors. The camp concluded successfully, spreading the message that a simple act of donating blood can help save many lives.
